BMW Group Indonesia opened the celebration of The Next Level of Luxury at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) on 10-20 August 2023.
The BMW group was present at the Convention Hall, ICE BSD, BMW Group Pavilion for all customers, especially BMW and MINI fans. In line with the theme of GIIAS 2023, namely Future Now, BMW Indonesia, as a pioneer in the field of premium electric vehicle manufacturers, presents a high-performance luxury Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV), the BMW XM.
The first high-performance electric vehicle from BMW M which is a perfect amalgamation of the BMW M DNA as well as the versatile SAV capabilities of the BMW X.Apart from the BMW XM, the All-New BMW M2 Coupé was also launched at GIIAS 2023. The All-New BMW M2 Coupé is a high-performance two-door compact sedan from BMW M.
Having a compact body, the All-New BMW M2 Coupé is powered by the same engine as the BMW M3 and BMW M4. Luxury is also an important factor at the BMW Pavilion, where the All-new BMW 7 Series with two engine variants, the BMW 735i M Sport and the BMW i7 will be shown to the public for the first time.
The BMW 735i M Sport is assembled locally in Indonesia, bringing a high level of comfort to the second row with the Executive Lounge and entertainment on a big screen like never before.
At GIIAS 2023, MINI is also for the first time displaying its complete model range, starting from the MINI 3-Door, MINI 5-Door, MINI Cabrio, MINI Clubman, and MINI Countryman.
MINI also presents the MINI 5-Door vehicle which looks sportier as a Special Edition exclusively with the John Cooper Works trim: MINI 5-Door Cooper S Sport. All the latest BMW and MINI vehicles will be present at the BMW Group Pavilion with an area of 2,100 square meters, totaling more than 24 of the newest BMWs and 8 of the newest MINIs.
The test drive area for visitors is right behind the BMW Group Pavilion, each of which has 15 BMW units and 6 MINI units to try out for yourself.
BMW M GmbH presents its first high-performance vehicle with an electric drive system, a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a V8 petrol engine and an electric motor.
